About Quarry Street Reserve

Trentham Quarry Street Reserve (TQSR) is on land owned by the Department of Environment, Land, Water & Planning (DELWP) and is managed by a local volunteer Committee of Management, in collaboration with Hepburn Shire Council (HSC).

The Reserve is bordered by a quadrangle of streets: Quarry, Victoria, Lelant and High. Residential houses border the Reserve on the east and west, with residential development planned for the former Trentham Foundry site on the north side of Victoria Street, adjacent the Reserve. The Trentham Stoney Creek Reserve continues on from Quarry Street Reserve on the south side of High Street.

Trentham Reserves

There are four DELWP Reserves in Trentham administered by local committees of management. Three of these reserves are bushland and are administered by Trentham Reserves Committee. The fourth is Trentham Quarry Street Reserve.

The four Reserves are joined by an attractive walking track, the Wombat Trail, which circumnavigates the township and which is an easy walk for those who do not wish to venture too far from the village. Plans are in development for this trail to be connected with both the Domino and Rail Trails, via “Bryant Way”.
